PianoDisc Pro Record System
Professional piano recording made by musicians for musicians
The PianoDisc Pro Record component turns your acoustic piano into a high-quality digital recording synthesiser. Recording piano performances and converting them to MIDI (Musical Instrument digital Interface) information is easy.
With extra-high resolution sound sampling (over 8000 samples per second), Pro Record accurately records your piano playing. Using an advanced optical sensor strip, Pro Record delivers a precise capture of the volume, expression and dynamics of any performance.
Your performances can be recorded and played back via PianoDisc’s Prodigy II self-playing piano system. Alternatively, transfer your MIDI recordings to music editing software for further creative options.
Additional Pro Record features
As a digital synthesiser, Pro Record offers not only piano recording but also high-quality sound samples of over 100 different instruments. Want to play a pipe organ? Strings? Woodwinds? Brass? Now you can, all whilst using a traditional weighted piano keyboard.
The system also includes a useful range of recording functions, from 247 note polyphony to reverb, chorus and delay effects. Alternatively, make use of the more advanced functions such as transposition and inter-note shift. Pro Record even includes an integrated metronome to keep you on time.
As part of the PianoDisc system, Pro Record works with virtually any type of acoustic piano. Convert a grand piano or upright piano of almost any make or model into a digital recording studio.
