What is PianoDisc?
The PianoDisc system is a combination of three main product components that turn your acoustic piano into a hybrid piano with self-playing, silent practice and pro recording functionality.
Simple to use but using sophisticated hardware and software, we consider this to be the best hybrid piano system capable of bringing advanced digital functionality to your traditional instrument.
Prodigy II
The core of the system, Prodigy II delivers self-playing piano functionality to your acoustic piano. Want to hear the Rachmaninoff concerto played on your own piano? Or add a live accompaniment to a Michael Bublé song in your own home? All that and much more is available with the simple push of a button.
Pro Record
Installing PianoDisc’s Pro Record component on your piano provides the ability to record and playback your own or others' performances. Whether you’re a professional musician or just love to play, you'll be able to capture the best versions of your favourite pieces and enjoy them again at any time.
Silent Piano
The silent piano playing component let's you plug in your headphones and enjoy silent playing at any time. The system uses a sophisticated optical sensor to capture action whilst preventing the hammers from striking the strings. Want to practice when the family is watching TV, or at night when others are in bed? Now you can.
How large is our library of songs and artists?
The PianoDisc’s catalogue of artists and songs has been recognised as the largest collection available for hybrid piano systems. The collection stretches across musicians, artists and performances from classical, jazz, pop and country genres and more.
